This may sound a bit silly to say because of course we are all trading to make money right? What is a trader doing if not trying to make more money?

However; traders when new to the Forex game (some not so new) often have these ideas and goals, that they can turn a small account into a very large one in a matter of days or weeks. This then causes them to go on the hunt for what is commonly known as the “Holy Grail”.

During this time they will open an account and begin to trade aggressively.

This normally ends the same way. The trader blows all their money and still they go on the search for the “Holy Grail”. They wonder what went wrong and then go on the search again!

You Are Putting in the Work!

You have moved past this stage because you are here now putting in the hard yards, getting educated and actually working – not plugging in a $1 indicator to run trades for you to make $20 million bucks.

You have found a method that works. It has worked for a long time and will continue to work. If you are not making money using it, it is not the markets or the methods fault. It is solely your fault as you are making the wrong decisions.

Price Action can bring a trader consistent gains when they have worked out everything that is required. It will NOT however make you thousands of % overnight. Quite simply no method or system will do this due the nature of the markets. Sure one person may get lucky and have a huge month but I can guarantee that they will eventually fail. No system or method will make you into a millionaire instantly overnight from a tiny account.

The quicker you get your expectation more in line with what can be achieved, the sooner you will give up on an endless search for something that doesn’t exist, and the quicker you can start perfecting the method you have and making serious money!
